Water essential for living!

There is a dire need in Pakistan for drinking water for the people living in our rural areas. They have to walk miles to get water which barely meets their needs. There are some areas in Arid Sind where people have no access to any water at all, and sadly they have no resources to dig wells and therefore suffer tremendous hardships, for getting water to meet their basic needs. There is an immediate need to help eliminate their sufferings.

Khwaja Ali and his wife Yasmin Ali who live in Seattle, found a need and wanted to take on a few projects and have been successful at it, with the help of an NGO in Sind.  They identified processes to locate underground water aquifers, and then drilled to the right depth to get sweet water. Where needed, solar power panels and submersible pumps were installed. The satisfaction of seeing people and animals get access to sweet and clean water, after the completion a few Well Projects it was tremendous. They plan to continue their efforts in providing drinking water to the remote areas of Pakistan. We at Give the Needy want to make a difference in the lives of these people, who are deprived of their essential water needs, which we take for granted.  For that we need your support.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women in the United States. Support for breast cancer awareness and research funding has helped created advances in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. We at Give the Needy are having a Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser on October 5th for Susan Komen. We would like your support to contribute to this most essential cause to fund our mission to help in any way possible.
