I am delighted to share the inspiring story of Zain Haq, a Youth Volunteer at the Dallas, Texas Chapter of Give the Needy Foundation. Zain Haq, a current sophomore at Frisco High School, is trying to enlighten the lives of others through Give the Needy. He is on the honor roll at school. He excels in reading, mathematics and finance, & hopes to help others with his work through the nonprofit. He organized a garage sale at his home, where he sold his old toys along with those of his three younger siblings. His goal was to raise funds for a deep water well project in a remote area, and through his hard work and dedication, he successfully accomplished it.
We are incredibly proud of Zain for his commitment, compassion, and the positive impact he is making on the lives of others. He dedicated the water well in memory of his grandma (his mom’s mother) Terry Arnold RIP.
Engaging youth in volunteer work with underprivileged communities is a powerful way to foster empathy and social responsibility. When adults guide and expose their children to the realities of poverty, it helps them develop compassion and a desire to make a difference. These experiences not only broaden their perspectives but also instill a sense of purpose, encouraging them to grow into conscientious and proactive citizens. By participating in community service, young people gain valuable insights and a commitment to helping others, shaping them into the compassionate leaders of tomorrow. Please contact me if your children would like to volunteer for us.
