WATER WELL PROJECTS - August 2024

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nasreen Haroon for generously donating a water well project in memory of the late Haroon Haji Husein Parekh (RIP).  We also express our deep appreciation to Sana Haroon for her contribution in honor of her mother, Nasreen Adaya Haroon. Both these water well projects are in Sanghar's Thar district, with additional projects currently underway. These wells are offering crucial relief to local villagers by fulfilling their essential water needs. Together, we are making a significant difference in the Thar district by providing this vital resource.

We ensure the project remains highly cost-effective by focusing on the essential functionality of the water wells, prioritizing their practicality over aesthetics. This approach allows us to maximize our resources and provide critical relief to more villagers, their animals, and vegetation for their sustenance by constructing a larger number of wells. 100% of your donation goes directly to the construction of the project.

Sharing successfully completed water well projects to celebrate “Water World Day!” last week. 

Our water well projects not only provide essential water resources but also support vegetation growth and livestock, contributing to sustaining livelihoods in arid regions.  Some of our projects also benefit both Muslim and also the Hindu communities in Tharparkar, Sindh. Transforming communities through the gift of water, we are witnessing positive change in Thar district. It’s such a relief that we were able to complete these projects in the rainy season. We are so happy to see villagers benefit from their basic necessities we take for granted.  We will share several more projects as they are completed.  

We created a basic uniform layout with flowers for the team to follow in all Give the Needy Foundation water wells. It’s not too artsy as we want to use the funds to create more water wells and make it more affordable for our donors.

Sharing some recent water well projects completed. These water well projects are from the District of Sanghar. It is located in the center of Sindh and is bounded to the east by India. It is roughly 35 miles east-southeast of the city of Nawabshah and the same distance north of Mirpur Khas. Their primary industry is agriculture. We have several water well projects in progress and will share them as they are completed in these remote areas.  We are using Give the Needy Foundation logo colors and also a sunflower pattern to keep the design consistent with all the water well projects we plan to do in the future. These pictures and videos you see are from 3 different villages in the District of Sanghar.

We are very happy to share that we have some water well projects completed in the villages of: Ameer Bus Distt Sanghar and Werseen Samejo Distt Sanghar. It’s such a good feeling to see the people in the villages so happy with such a basic necessity we take for granted, especially in the month of Ramadan.
