September 20TH, 2026 -Give the Needy Foundation Ladies Luncheon Fundraiser - "Frame Paint Out"

We celebrated the completion of 138+ water well projects and proudly introduced our new Solar Home Initiative in Baltistan, bringing much-needed light to families living without reliable electricity. Our guests also enjoyed a creative “Frame Paint Out,” decorating frames with artwork and meaningful messages inspired by Water • Light • Hope.

A heartfelt thank you to Yasmin Javed for beautifully setting the dessert table, and to our wonderful judges, Nasreen Haroon, Hina Abadi, and Ghazala Khan, for selecting the winning frames.

We celebrated our completion of 110 plus water well projects. 0ur paintings were all sold in our silent auction. We gave out paintings to our raffle winners. The theme of the fundraiser was a Mataka paint out and a competition for best dressed.  The creative artwork painted by all ladies on the who participated were amazing. A heartfelt thank you to: Yasmin Javed for beautifully setting the tables. Dr. Schehrezade Khan for her insightful talk. Tehmina Jesrai for her expert judging of the traditional fusion attire. We also thank Fatima Khan and Nasreen Haroon for choosing the best Matka paintings on the clay terracotta matkas.

The theme of the fundraiser was a Frida Kahlo paint out and a competition for best dressed.  The artwork created was truly remarkable by all the ladies, who participated.

Ghazala Khan for her expert judging of the Frida Kahlo inspired attire. We’re honored to have Mayor Farah Khan and Consul General’s wife, Faiza Aslam. Artists: Mona Niko and Pegah for evaluating everyone’s Frida Kahlo-inspired artwork.

 We appreciate everyone’s support and generosity for attending our event. We sold our paintings in our silent auction and also gave out paintings to our raffle winners. A heartfelt thank you to: Shehla Pirzada Memon, Asma Khan and Farah Zaidi for their kind speeches.  The cookies made by Anum Farjad (The Cookie Eatery). Desserts made by Khadeeja Mirza (Desserts You Knead). 

A special thanks/acknowledgment to Farah Deeba (Plush petals) for her ‘Amalfi coast inspired Floral Dessert’ table and her ‘artistic Grazing’ table, which was very creative and extraordinary!
