Ration Drive

Thank you to all our donors for supporting Give the Needy Foundation and making the Ramadan ration distribution possible in the Lines Area of Karachi, Pakistan. This neighborhood is home to many low-income families who struggle with severe financial hardship. A large number of residents live in overcrowded housing and rely on daily wage jobs, small street vending, or temporary labor to survive. Because incomes are unstable, many households often struggle to afford basic necessities such as food, clean water, healthcare, and education for their children.

During the holy month of Ramadan, these challenges become even more difficult for many families. Community support and charitable distributions are essential in helping residents obtain essential food items and basic supplies so they can observe the month with dignity. Your generosity provided meaningful relief and hope to families living under very difficult economic conditions.

We are collecting funds to distribute essential Ramadan rations to families in Macher Colony, Lines Area, and nearby communities in Karachi. Your support makes a real difference.

This year, $25 provides a complete ration package for one family, including flour, rice, sugar, tea, channa, besan, vermicelli, Rooh Afza, dates, and oil.

We ensure that every recipient is genuinely in need, with many home deliveries made to those too embarrassed to ask for help and reaching families in dire circumstances.
